Low Carb Keto Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie
This low carb keto strawberry cheesecake smoothie is one of my favorite breakfast treats. It tastes like a slice of strawberry cheesecake in a glass, but it's completely sugar-free and keto-friendly.
The secret ingredient is cream cheese, which gives it that rich, tangy cheesecake flavor. Combined with fresh strawberries, heavy cream, and a sugar substitute, this smoothie is thick, creamy, and deeply satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons erythritol or stevia (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender in the order listed.
- Blend on high for 45-60 seconds, or until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour into a glass and top with a fresh strawberry and a sprinkle of crushed pecans if desired.
Tips
The cream cheese is what gives this smoothie its cheesecake flavor, so don't skip it. For a thicker smoothie, use frozen strawberries and add more ice. The chia seeds add fiber and help thicken the smoothie naturally. If you're not keto but still want a healthier option, you can substitute honey or maple syrup for the erythritol.
