So, if you’ve never used a sugar scrub, let me tell you, you are missing out! Sugar scrubs are so good for your skin in that sugar is a natural humectant – meaning moisture is drawn from the air and absorbed by your skin, which helps to keep it naturally hydrated. Sugar is also a alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which helps renew skin cells and keep your skin looking young. And, last but not least, and probably already pretty obvious, sugar helps to exfoliate dead skin cells to help keep your skin glowing

Here’s what you need to make this Coconut Lime Mint Sugar Scrub. Grab some coconut oil, granulated sugar, peppermint essential oil, and a lime. You’ll also need some Mason Jars and of course, your free printable, which you can download here.

Essential Oils Recipes Coconut Lime Mint Sugar Scrub

Pull out your stand mixer, and add the coconut oil and sugar to the bowl. Attach the paddle and mix until it’s blended well. Mix in the essential oil and the lime zest. Scoop into mason jars and attach the printable. That’s it! It’s so easy, you seriously have no excuse not to make it!

Essential Oil Coconut Lime Mint Sugar Scrub


½ cup solid coconut oil
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon peppermint essential oil
1 lime zested

Other materials:
Mason Jars (my fave are the Ball ones)
Printable (best printed on white sticker paper) – print it here


1. Add coconut oil and sugar to a stand up mixer. Using the paddle attachment, mix until blended.
2. Add remaining ingredients and continue to mix until incorporated.
3. Use a rubber spatula to get all sugar scrub off the sides. Scoop into 8 oz mason jars with secure
4. Add printable tags and ribbon if desired.
